University of Florida Materials Science and Engineering Professor Juan Claudio Nino was honored as a distinguished speaker for the Richard E. Tressler Lectures in Materials at Pennsylvania State University.

Professor Brennan is being honored for his inventions that led to the Sharklet microtopography which was inspired by biomimicry.
