Step 1 — Application Form

All application materials are to be sent to the UF Admissions Office.

 

Step 2 — Materials Science Department

The following must be completed and submitted online:

  • Three Letters of Recommendation
  • Statement of purpose

Official GRE score reports from ETS must be submitted by ETS to the University of Florida Office of Graduate Admissions using the following codes:

  • Institution Code: 5812
  • Department Code: 1403

Step 3 — Application Checklist

Thank you for applying to the University of Florida Materials Science Department. For your convenience, we have provided this Application Checklist. Please make sure that you have completed all of the necessary forms and mailed the appropriate paperwork before the application deadline.

I. Office of Admissions

The following must be mailed to the UF Office of Admissions

  • Official Transcripts and Certificates
  • Official GRE and TOEFL scores
