Biography
Nagarajan Rajagopal is an Instructional Assistant Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Florida. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University in India and a Master’s and Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of Florida, USA. He has also worked as an engineer with General Motors and Axogen.
His research focused on novel 3D-printed controlled-release passive devices utilizing spatial repellents, transfluthrin in collaboration with USDA and DoD. His research interests are in polymers and biomaterials. Currently, he teaches Materials Science Engineering for undergraduate and graduate students. While he is not teaching, he is an avid traveler, loves music, and enjoys cooking, baking, and stargazing.
