Jacob DeWitte is a founder and the CEO of UPower. He graduated with his BS in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Florida in 2008.  He has been named to the Forbes 30 under 30 list in the energy sector for 2014.  He is currently a PhD candidate in MIT Nuclear Engineering, and an Admiral Hyman G. Rickover Fellow. Jacob has worked at Sandia National Laboratories, Urenco, General Electric, and the Naval Reactor Laboratories. Jacob also served on the Board of the American Nuclear Society. He has worked on cutting edge nuclear technologies, nuclear facility licensing, fuel sales, and nuclear construction project management. Jacob has research expertise in next generation reactor systems, and his PhD research explores techniques to maximize power plant performance with new fuel designs.  Congratulations to Jacob!!!!
