Welcome to the Department of Materials Science & Engineering (MSE) at the University of Florida. In addition, we are proud to house a robust Nuclear Engineering Program. This program plays a critical role in educating the next generation of nuclear engineers and conducting research that contributes to the safe, efficient, and sustainable use of nuclear energy.
At UF MSE, our educational programs are designed to provide students with a strong foundation in both the theoretical and practical aspects of materials and nuclear science and engineering.
