Congratulations to PhD graduate Dr. Abhijit Pramanick for receiving the Edward C. Henry Best Paper award from the Electronics Division of the American Ceramic Society. Dr. Pramanick and his coauthors, including Prof. Juan C. Nino, and Prof. Jacob L. Jones, were selected as the sole recipient of this award for their paper on “Origins of Electro-Mechanical Coupling in Polycrystalline Ferroelectrics During Subcoercive Electrical Loading.” This article was selected because it is having a large impact as proven by the substantial number of citations within a short period of time. The article was selected best paper for the calendar year of 2011 from all papers published in the Journal of American Ceramic Society or Bulletin.
