Infrastructure Materials Research Experience for Undergraduates

The University of Florida is hosting a summer research experience for undergraduates. This 10 week program will allow you to conduct research in a lab while participating in a variety of professional and social events. You will work in a research lab, learning the techniques and skills needed to succeed in a career in science and engineering.

The program includes:

  • A $4000 stipend.
  • A $1000 allowance to attend a conference of your choice after the summer program.
  • Housing on campus.
  • A travel allowance to help with the cost of your travel to and from Florida.
  • Professional development activities to help you prepare for success in school and your career.
  • Social events to interact with other summer research students.
  • A concluding poster session where you will present the results of your research.
