Pacific Northwest National Lab

In this seminar, we discuss career and collaboration opportunities for students and postdocs at national laboratories, specifically at Pacific Northwest National Lab. After a brief overview of the history and current state of the national lab system, we focus on PNNL and discuss the science, workplace, work/life benefits, and career development opportunities. We then preview recent examples of capability development such as 3D atomic force microscopy for visualizing solid-liquid interfaces and in situ liquid phase microscopy for observing nanoparticle interactions in real time.PNNL is focused on delivering transformational science and technology particularly in the fields of chemistry, energy, environment, and national security. We would be delighted if you consider applying to PNNL to be the home of your science in your next career step.
