The UF Bladesmithing Team took second place at the March 2015 TMS Meeting in Orlando, Florida. The first-ever competition consisted of 19 student teams from throughout the world to produce a knife or sword blade using traditional blacksmithing techniques. The members of the team were Justin Dansbury, Mathew Wener, Daniel Machado, Dean Sage, and Rachel Guarriello.
