Navin Manjooran
Solve Technology and Research, Inc.Biography
Dr. Manjooran serves as the President & CEO of Solve Technology And Research, Inc., a global technical services company addressing critical energy, industry, medical and infrastructure challenges with its corporate office in Orlando, Florida, USA. For ~10 years, Navin was in the global executive leadership team of Siemens AG. In this role, he provided leadership from the corporate side for the entire Siemens energy and healthcare portfolio; including expanding international collaborations, developing the global strategy and ensuring Siemens stayed a trend-setter for advanced technology and innovation.
Since 2010, Navin has also been serving as an Adjunct Professor (Materials Science and Engineering) at Virginia Tech University (Blacksburg, Virginia, USA). He has taught multiple courses and has co-organized 28 international symposia for over 21 years with the National Institute of Technology (Warangal, India), University of Florida (Gainesville, Florida, USA), Virginia Tech and various international materials engineering and mechanical engineering professional societies including, ACerS, TMS, ASM International and ASME.
Navin is also a member of the US Technology Advisory Board and has also served on the Virginia Tech University Board of Visitors and University of Chicago Board of Trustees. Navin has also served as the Co-Chair of the Virginia Tech Capital Campaign (aimed at raising 1 Billion USD) for the New York Region and the Orlando/ Tampa Region under the leadership of former Virginia Tech President Dr. Charles Steger, and Vice President for Development, Dr. Betsy Flanagan.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in metallurgical engineering from the prestigious National Institute of Technology (Warangal, India), a master’s degree in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Florida and a doctorate in Materials Science and Engineering from Virginia Tech University, all with the highest honors. He also has his MBA from the prestigious Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.
Navin has 11 patents/disclosures, 11 books (edited), 47 publications and 73 presentations at national/international conferences. He has received several awards including the following prestigious awards:

Navin enjoys leading and managing people, technology development, research, engineering and teaching. Based in Windermere, Florida he enjoys water sports, playing tennis and golf in his spare time.
