Connecting to Department Drive

Windows

  1. Click the start button in the bottom left corner
  2. Type “this pc”, you should see a list of results 
  3. Right click This PC and select the Map Network Drive Option
  4. In the folder field enter in: \\osg-prod.fs.osg.ufl.edu\msefs01
  5. You may be prompted for credentials, enter in your UF username (the same one you use to log into a UF computer) with UFAD\ in front of the username
  6. Then to access the drive click the File Explorer Icon. This is usually located in your taskbar along the bottom. Then under This PC it should show up as a network location.

MacOS

  1. Click the Finder Icon located along the bottom of the taskbar
  2. Then along the top bar of your screen click Go then Connect to Server
  3. In the field enter:  cifs://osg-prod.fs.osg.ufl.edu/msefs01 then click connect
  4. You may be prompted for credentials, enter in your UF username (the same one you use to log into a UF computer) with UFAD\ in front of the username
  5. It should then pop-up with the drive in Finder and on the Desktop
