Dow Chemical Graduate Fellowship in Materials Science & Engineering
Biography
This fund supports fellowship awards to graduate students in the UF MSE Department and in the College of Engineering, and was established in 2001 by Dow Chemical Company Foundation in its effort to support education worldwide. Dow’s mission is to improve students’ understanding of math, science and technology through partnerships with leading educational organizations and volunteer work on behalf of their employees. As the company’s philanthropic arm, the Dow Chemical Company Foundation contributes more than $20 million annually to charitable and educational institutions in Dow communities on behalf of Dow and its employees around the world.
