Abstract:
The presentation will orient the audience about the history and makeup of the National Nuclear Regulator (NNR), its legislative origin as well as the regulatory framework. Further, the presentation will also present past regulatory projects. Ongoing regulatory projects and future ones will be highlighted, within the context of the Long Term Operation of the Koeberg Nuclear Power Plant and the planned nuclear new build project for the country.
