MSE PhD student Jason Myers won First Prize in the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3) Young Persons' World Lecture Competition held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 20th September 2010. Jason, a grad student with Prof. Jiangeng Xue, gave a presentation on his research on 'Enhanced Organic Photovoltaic Cell Performance using Transparent Microlens ArrayS'. Jason received his undergraduate degree in MSE from UF and performed undergraduate research with Prof. Susan Sinnott. In addition to a trip to Malaysia funded by IOM3, he also received prize money of 700 UK pounds ($1100). More details can be found at
